KAPLA bricks building instructions

Instructions for building with Kapla wooden blocks are sometimes already included in the Kapla boxes: just check whether an art book is included in the set, such as the 280 brick sets or the Kapla 40 brick "Book and Color" sets. We also have Kapla art books with building instructions in different levels of difficulty available for you individually.

KAPLA® blocks

KAPLA® blocks are a simple but very intelligent wooden toy from France that is aimed at small children as well as children of primary school age. The wooden building blocks can be used to construct everything from flatlays, mandalas, figures to architectural structures. The building blocks from KAPLA are made from 100% untreated wood in natural and in 10 different colors.

Sustainable wooden toys

KAPLA's wooden building blocks are made in France from French pine wood that comes from sustainable forestry. All KAPLA products come from the European Union and have a relatively short delivery route compared to other wooden toys. In addition, the 100% untreated wooden building blocks can be used for a long time and will last for generations.

Kapla blocks: from what age?

KAPLA® blocks are tested for children aged 2 and over. The natural wooden building blocks are made from 100% untreated wood, which you notice immediately when you open the box: the great scent of pine wood then flows through the room. The colorful Kapla stones are colored with food-safe colors and are therefore safe for children.

With children aged 2 and over, you can carefully start laying your first patterns and flatlays. However, building larger KAPLA structures only makes sense from the age of 3-4 at the earliest. By the age of 6, a child's skill and patience have usually reached a level where they can build complex structures independently and in groups. The nice thing is: the level of difficulty can always be individually adjusted when building with Kapla up to elementary school age.

Can KAPLA blocks be combined?

As minimalist wooden toys, KAPLA® blocks support integrative and open play. The wooden building blocks from KAPLA® can be combined with many other toys in the children's room and integrated into the game. In our home, KAPLA® stones are used in conjunction with the wooden toys from Grimm's, but also in combination with toy cars and animals.
